The project involves necessary awareness creation at the beneficiary level on importance of safe drinking water on their life and livelihood. The project also involves making safe drinking water available to beneficiaries at community level.
Goals And Targets
The goal of the programme is to create awareness on safe drinking water and making available drinking water at the community level. Initially, villages will be selected from the districts of West Bengal (from East Midnapore, West Midnapore , Contai, Jhargram) for implementing the programme. The greater focus shall be to obtain the interest of community for promoting community facilities. A village typically has a common pond from where drinking water is obtained but animals and clothes are also washed there. The Foundation aims to raise awareness across 100 villages and build along with the local community, suitable drinking water facilities by Year 2023.Our foundation have covered and 3330 households under water related project Survey. The Foundation’s support involves the distribution of chlorine tablets and building of tube wells/hand pumps etc.
